Bringing AR Magic to King & Nick Jonas's "Maan Meri Jaan(Afterlife)"

On April 20, 2023, the music world was set ablaze with the release of King’s sensational track, "Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)," featuring international superstar Nick Jonas. At WhizzStudio, we had the decided pleasure of collaborating with Warner Music in creating a never-before digital experience that would carry this global hit onto newer heights.

The Vision: Global Promotion Through AR

Our mission was clear: develop AR filters that would promote one of India’s most trending songs featuring an international collaboration. Our goal was to craft immersive and engaging AR experiences that would resonate with fans and encourage them to create and share their own content.

Crafting an Immersive Solution

In collaboration with Warner Music UK, we designed two cool AR filters. The filters now featured on the Warner Music India's Instagram page and the Snapchat Lens section, were meticulously crafted reflecting the soul of "Maan Meri Jaan". We created an engaging, visually-appealing experience that connected with fans everywhere in the world.

Igniting Social Media Buzz

The launch of these AR filters lit up social media, especially on Instagram and Snapchat.  Fans all over the world took to the filters, integrating them into their video clips or stories.This wave of user-generated content did more than just give the song's title a boost; it also created a buzz that far exceeded borders, merging the worlds of Indian music with international pop.

Enhancing the Fan Experience

Our AR filters were much more than just digital effects; they literally framed a window for fans to connect with the music at a deeper level.  By integrating the song into countless videos, we helped fans feel like they were part of the "Maan Meri Jaan" experience, like one big community experiencing that rush together.
